'Above the Ground part 2' is coming after the clubs openings to complete Combine Audio's latest compilation.
Part 1 was amazing and set the tone for a versatile compilation aimed to show what we call Techno from every possible angle.
Israel Toledo, About 130, DAVMA, Drucal, J-Dam, Juan Campos, Kxel, Le Martz, Mar Axe, Rave Syndicate, Renrof, Simbiosis and label boss Paula Cazenave, again a team made of rookies and veterans at Combine Audio, raise the stakes to complete the 'Above the Ground' compilation in style.
From the most refined hypnotic groove by About 130 or Drucal to the most driving and industrial beats by Davma, Mar Axe or Le Martz.
Kxel, Renrof, Israel Toledo and Symbiosis bring four different takes on groove: Deep fat jumping kickbass, classy dub chord stabs, broken beats and dirty rhythms.
While Juan Campos handles the syncopated rhythms with ease and J-Dam looks for the tunnel vision experience, Rave Syndicate brings the madness with the crack of doom, literally. To complete the compilation, this time Paula shows us her driving techno side with a perfect track for peak time hours.
